Congratulations to the team at Aaron Evans Architects in their 40th anniversary year. The practice has worked with the Duchy of Cornwall on schemes in the Bath area for more than 30 years – most recently, the production of a “village plan” for Newton st Loe and seeing it through with the detailed design of a number of new houses. Their sensitive and thorough approach has been evident throughout not only in the designs produced but in the handling of the process. The mood is always cheerful and optimistic with AEA. When others may get frustrated, Kevin Murphy and his team will simply find a solution, identify the next stage of the process and get on with it. AEA have excellent local knowledge, pragmatism and a willingness to listen and translate a client’s aspiration into something appropriate and pleasing to the eye. Kevin, Richard and Philip all trained at the University of Bath and it is comforting to have such talented home grown architects looking after important elements of the built environment in our City and its surroundings.
