Hotels, Leisure & Tourism

The practice has designed and completed a number of hotel projects ranging from the alteration and refurbishment of listed buildings, such as the grade I listed Duke's Hotel, to reconstruction and new build.

At Saw Close we have integrated a 148 bed hotel into a mixed use redevelopment which includes a new casino and 2 restaurant units in the heart of Bath city centre on a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

We also have expertise in the design of cinemas, as both new build and listed building projects. Our Kingsmead Odeon in Bath project was the first citiplex development in a World Heritage Site.

We recognise the need and have the skills to coordinate and oversee the design development of all aspects of the project such as building services and plantroom accommodation, the fire strategy and acoustic separation and noise control. We work closely with our clients and interior designers to design key interior elements, including reception and public areas, finishes, lighting, branding and signage.

If you have a complex city centre development in mind please contact us for expert advice.
