WALKIN Centre, Wareham

A feasibility study and planning application for a new library, citizens advice bureau, community learning centre, tourist information centre, Registrar office and public conveniences. The practice was selected following after recommendation by the RIBA Clients Advisory Service. The project has involved working with a strategic partnership of 5 clients and has involved extensive public consultation. The project provides a solution to the many required functions whilst providing a contemporary but sensitive intervention in the Conservation Area and the setting of listed buildings.
