Press Release: Natural Theatre's new youth studio

Natural Theatre’s new youth studio designed by Aaron Evans Architects Ltd is now open at their company’s Headquarters in Widcombe. The £160k project will provide facilities for the company’s street theatre school, a unique undertaking aimed at young people whose latent talents have yet to be realised. Natural Theatre’s special kind of street theatre can increase self confidence and open up the imagination, as well as providing entertainment for unsuspecting passers-by!
Natural Theatre Company HQ at Widcombe Institute, formerly the Sunday school and reading room to a nearby church, was cleverly converted in 1996 by Aaron Evans Architects to provide new headquarters for the Company. The practice was initially appointed to prepare feasibility studies to assist in obtaining grant funding for the project. Once this funding was in place the architects went on to design and procure the building work creating offices, storage and rehearsal space within the two storey building.
